Osman Zulfiqar, Partner
Osman is a founding member and managing partner of Prolegis. He is also head of the Commercial Litigation department. Osman specialises in heavyweight commercial litigation including professional negligence and insolvency.

Osman worked in London for approximately 5 years and qualified with a niche firm of commercial solicitors on Chancery Lane before coming back to his roots to set up Prolegis.

Osman acts for many high net worth individuals and national and international company clients. More recently he acted for a client who was listed in the Sunday Times Asian Rich List (with a personal wealth estimated at more than £250 million) and members of his family in Court proceedings brought by the administrators of Lexi Holdings Plc on behalf of a consortium of banks lead by Barclays Plc for recovery of some £120 million. The proceedings involved claims of fraud, asset tracing and freezing injunctions and concerned litigation in the UK, Spain and Pakistan.


Shafana Mudasar, Partner

Shafana is a founding member of Prolegis and head of the Immigration department. Prior to joining Prolegis as a partner Shafana worked as a consultant solicitor in Harrogate where she developed and led the immigration department.

 

Since qualification Shafana has also worked as a supervising solicitor at a leading law college as well as an insolvency examiner for the Department of Trade & Industry. Throughout the above roles Shafana has maintained her interest in education and lectures at Leeds Law school.

 

Over the years Shafana has developed a wealth of experience in dealing with a broad range of immigration issues and is an expert in her practice area. Shafana is well regarded for resolving highly complex immigration matters be it personal immigration or business immigration. What ever your immigration needs, rest assured our expert is here to assist you.

 

Chris Hudson, Consultant Solicitor
Chris obtained an honours degree in Law and Politics from the University of Hull and his professional qualifications at the College of Law in York.  Chris qualified in 2002 after 2 years training at a long established Yorkshire firm and specialised in personal injury claims.  Chris has been heavily involved in the litigation against the former British Coal by ex-miners for lung disease and vibration white finger as well as developing a specialism in noise-induced deafness claims on behalf of former mill and factory workers.  After running his own firm for 4 years, Chris joined Prolegis as a consultant and heads the personal injury department.


 

Samina Razaq, Consultant Solicitor

Samina attended the University of Huddersfield where she completed a BA (HONS) in Law and Accountancy. She then undertook her LPC at BPP Law School, Leeds in which she attained a commendation.

Samina specialises in Road Traffic Accidents (including Motor Insurance Bureau Claims).

Samina is fluent in Punjabi and has a good understanding of Urdu.
